Gilded Flight

I have been inspired to create this card after watching several of Christine Stokes You Tube
videos, see here
I firstly used an embossing folder to create my background. I swiped the embossed side of the EF with DO's Black Soot, I then mixed a bit of Brusho's Turquoise with water and painted the whole background.
After drying the panel, I then brushed some Pearl White Perfect Pearls over the panel and finished it off with some Simon Hurley Gold Lunar Paste that I applied using my finger.
Once I die cut the section I wanted to use, I did have to run it through my Cuttlebug in the EF again to re-emboss the image as it flattened a bit when I die cut my feature panel.
I then used a bit of the left-over card, selected the part I wanted to use and stamped my bird using my Misti, I die cut the bird and then re-stamped the bird to redefine the outline. I only put the Pearl White Perfect Pearls on the bird and not the Gold Luna Paste so that it didn't blend into the background and then mounted all the layers. I added a sentiment & sub-sentiment that I had laying around to finish it off.

Pastel Rainbow

Today's card has a soft pastel rainbow background that I created with my funky circle stencil. I then die cut my 'happy' sentiment twice, once with white scrap and once with holographic card that was used for the top layer. After working out my positions, I then stamped my birthday sentiment. I also die cut my panels with a stitched die and put them all together. To finish off, I stamped and fussy cut some funky flowers and added a bit of glass finish glue and a sprinkle of glitter to give them a shine.

Fabulous Day

For today's card, I created my feature panel by using my Gel Plate to create the blue background and a floral stencil that I then coloured with DI's. I started off with a large piece of card and stenciled it using a rainbow pattern, then die cutting it into four and picking my favourite piece, I then ran it through a background die for a little more interest. I die cut my flower two times with thick cardstock and adhered them together for some extra height, worked out my placement and then stamped my sentiment. I then layered the main panel onto some mulberry coloured card and adhered them all together.

Happy Happy Birthday to You

I created this card for daughters partner. I ink blended my Distress Inks, stamped my background image with Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White EP. I die cut the happy sentiment twice and then three more time with black card for each word. I then adhered them all together and attached to the base and I added a sub-sentiment. I layered the panel onto black and navy card.

Happy Birthday to You

I created today's card with some new dies. I used the cover plate for some subtly interest and then I die cut my 'happy' three times with white card and once with blended coloured card. I then adhered them together for some dimension and added a sub sentiment. I then stamped some small flowers with the scrap card and die cut them with their matching die and adhered, then I finished it off with some tiny stars.

Special Day

For today's card, I stamped my floral image and heat embossed it with white EP. I then inked my background by blending DO's Spun Sugar, Abandoned Coral & Seedless Preserves. I used a stitched die to cut out the part of the panel I wanted to use and also die cut some white card stock with the next size up to frame my coloured panel. I die cut my sentiment 3 times and layered them together for dimension. I also added a sub-sentiment and some pearls. I mounted the panel for some more dimension to finish the card.

Floral Birthday

A bit of everything in this card today...blending, stenciling, stamping, die cutting & heat embossing.
Firstly I blended DI Wilted Violet & Worn Lipstick through my stencil, then stamped my 'happy' and stamped and heat embossed the 'birthday'. I also die cut my flowers on white card and coloured them with DI Wilted Violet. I layered it all together and added some pearls to cover a bit of wayward ink ;)

Crisscross Birthday

I created today's card with some background card I made using my Geli Plate. I die cut a frame out of the orange card and inserted it with blue card that was also die cut with the Spellbinders Crisscross. I also inlaid some of insert with orange bits to give it a bit more interest. I stamped and coloured my sentiment with Copic Markers and popped it with up with some fun foam.
