Birthday Mandala

I created today's card by stamping a partial of a mandala stencil. I also inked the stencil partially with an assortment of DO inks. To finish it off, I added my sentiment and layered it onto black card.

Bubble Background

I created today's card by using the 'bubble technique' that I saw on Christine Stokes You Tube Tutorial which you can find here. It is a very soft background so I think I will have to add some more ink next time to bring out some more colour. Once the background was dry, I splattered some ink, then I stamped my image, coloured the outlined flowers with Copics, added some 'glass glue' and glitter for dimension and sparkle and layered it onto matching coloured card stock. I then pop dotted my panel and added my sentiment to finish it all off.

Happy Happy Happy

I created today's card by stamping the 'happy' sentiment four times and then heat embossing them with clear EP. I then die cut my 'birthday' sentiment three times and adhered them together and added a foam backing for some extra height before attaching the panel to a blue card stock base.

Birthday Ship

I created today's card by stenciling the background with DI Faded Jeans. I then trimmed it down and mounted on black card for a small border. I stamped and fussy cut my ship, stamped my sentiment and pop dotted it for dimension.

Hello There

I made this card for a new stamping friend in the US. I created the background using acetate inking that Karen D posted on her blog - link here - I can see me using this technique a lot! I then stamped my flowers, die cut a 'hello' sentiment out of scrap card on mounting tape and stamped the rest of my sentiment underneath and added a couple of little pearls.

Birthday Flowers

I made this card the other day for a friend. I created the background with DI's, layered it onto contrasting coloured card then added my die cut poppy's that are yellow this time and not red and my birthday sentiment. Finished it off with a stamped 'happy' sentiment which I coloured in and added some sequins for added interest.
