Make a Wish

For today's card I inked some card with DO's in the general area that I would be die cutting my flowers.  I then added them to my card front and die cut the sentiment several times and layered them together for some dimension. I also used a bit of the inked scrap card to stamp my sub-sentiment and finished it off with some clear sequins.

I created today's card with inspiration from a card Yana Smakula created, check it out here.

I stamped my 'noel' multiple times then coloured them in with Copic colours to give it a nostalgic look. I then added another sentiment across the card, mounted it on some black card and added sequins for some more interest.

Feathery Birthday

My card today is for an upcoming special male birthday, I had this masterboard laying around that was a bit dark and murky, so I thought it might work for this card being that it was for a male. I got to use my feather die cuts for the first time as well as my new birthday die cut. I embossed across the top of my masterboard with an embossing folder, layered the die cuts then stamped wishes under the birthday sentiment. I also dabbed some Perfect Pearls Mist on just to give it a little bit of something else.

Christmas Grunge

Another Christmas card and the polar opposite of the last one...for this card I have taken up the challenge from the Inkspirational DT and gone grunge and again I'm entering my card into Creative Moments  who want monochromatic and Sweet Stampin' who have a Christmas in July cue.

Well I did make it back with another Christmas card but looking at my photo it doesn't look very clear and I think it's because I have added a watermark, I will check it out after I've posted. Anyway for this card I'm actually entering it into several challenges!! My design is from Freshly Made Sketches, my colours are from Inspired by Stamping, Inkspirational have a card to CASE, Cards in Envy want Birds and Christmas Cards All Year Round are having a Christmas Extravaganza and want fussy & fancy...check to all of the above!! Well this is my last creation for the day...I have to head off and pick my daughter up from work and then we are going to go to the movies. This card I made with my little nieces in mind....a happy, fun, bright card. The design is the latest challenge at Seize the Birthday and the colour combo is happening over at Inkspirational.

Hi All, today is Anzac Day in Australia where we remember our fallen soldiers. Lest we forget....

I have been lucky to score a 4 day weekend as Anzac Day is a public holiday and tomorrow I have taken a days leave to make it a long weekend for me...woohoo...and that means stamp, stamp, stamping and here is my first creation. Today I have made the background by using my 'Dried Marigold' Distress Ink which I then stamped with a background image using the same colour. I have then punched out some leaves, flowers and a butterfly for my image and added pearls. I am actually able to enter this card into 4 challenges (seems to be a theme of 4 today, lol)...I have used the layout from Inkspirational, for colour I have chosen the combo from Just Us Girls, Tuesday Throwdown want you to make your own background and over at Allsorts they have a passion for flowers.
