Floral Bunch

Today's card was created by cutting out my flowers from Sizzix Thinlits #661808 Wildflowers with white card stock and then creating a watercolour look with my Copic markers. I then layered the card base with contrasting card stock and arranged my flowers. I stamped my sentiment on black card and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and finished it off with some sequins for added interest.

Merry & Bright

Today's card was created with inspiration by Ardyth. I like CAS Christmas cards as you have so many to make. I have used DI's to stamp my trees and then added a sentiment, mounted on metallic card and added a few gems to finish off.

Watercolour Florals

I created todays background with textured Watercolour Card, DO's Peeled Paint & Fossilised Amber and gave it a watercolour wash. I then stamped my flowers and added a bit more Fossilised Amber wash to the petals. Stamped part of my sentiment on the background, then pop dotted the rest on some white card and added sequins for some added interest. I layered the image onto a similar green card and pop dotted it to the base to complete.

Birthday Balloons

Using DO's for my balloons, I then hand drew strings to my balloons. Stamped half of the sentiment and the white embossed the rest of the sentiment on black card and pop dotted it.

Merry Christmas Wreath

 
Another card and another wreath. Again I have made a wreath using a curved branch stamp....it's amazing how you can look at a stamp differently when surfing the talented bloggers sites. Festive Friday have used a photo inspiration of a wreath for their latest challenge and I have chosen to go a little different with my colours and taken up the challenge from Fab Friday. Merry Christmas Banner

Hi All, well today is a good day....my good friend and fellow stamper is actually with me in my craft room stamping with me and not just skyping as we usually do on a Saturday! We have been playing and trying out some different techniques...some successful and some not! I will post a successful one shortly so stay tuned. For this card I have used the the photo inspiration from the DT at Festive Friday and I have also cased an amazing card by Susie Wittwer  check it out here thanks for the inspiration Susie. I really like this card and I love all the stamping because sometimes you can end up with not much stamping on a card these days with all the amazing toys you can get out in todays craft world. Anyway, I hope your Saturday is going well...I'll be back shortly with another post so pop on over if you have a moment.

Aussie Christmas

Another Christmas card for my stash...yippee...for this card I used the photo inspiration from Festive Friday, I must admit I really struggle with making Christmas cards with snow and the like as in Australia, Christmas for us is smack bang in the middle of our summer and as a rule it is stinking hot!! A lot of our Christmas days are spent around a swimming pool or even the beach or river, anywhere where we can cool off. So even though I used the photo inspiration I put an Aussie spin too it. I have had this truck for many years and I still love using him as I feel it has an Aussie feel to it.
