Penguin Present

I'm still making Christmas cards while I'm in the zone. Today's card I stamped and coloured my penguins with Copic markers. Die cut some DP to look like hills and a forest, then die cut my sentiment several times and layered to make it pop.

Santa's Sleigh

I'm still making Christmas cards while I'm in the mood, it will give me a head start for next year! I blended DO's to create a night sky, splattered some white Colour Mist to create stars then stamped some tree tops along the bottom of the card. I then stamped my reindeer, die cut Santa's sleigh, stamped Santa and his bag of goodies and coloured with Copics then fussy cut him out. I then put it all together, I drew my reigns on then die cut a sentiment in glitter red card.

To You and Yours

Another card created by blending DO's to create my background. I then spritzed it with water as well as Perfect Pearls. Stamped and coloured my baubles with Copics then added a bit of glitter around the edges. Stamped 'with love' on one bauble and a sub sentiment on black card. Added some sequins for added interest and mounted it all onto some silver glitter card to finish off.

From Our Family to Yours

I don't usually do 'cute' but I loved these little penguins from My Favorite Things and just had to have them. I also don't really do scene's with lots of masking so I am really stepping outside of my comfort zone here. Very happy with the end result, I used DO's for sponging the background and Copics for colouring my little friends.

I die cut my layering Christmas Tree and sponged the inner layer lightly with DO Blueprint Sketch and then layered it onto silver glitter card stock. I also layered my base layer onto silver glitter card stock. Stamped my sentiment and popped up the sub sentiment on white card.

Sentiment Tree

Today's card is a soft pastel Christmas card, more colour than what the pic is showing. I created the watercolour look with DO's Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and lots of water. I brushed the colours on then when it was dry, I stamped my sentiment tree and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I mounted it onto a soft green card and adhered it to the base then added a few clear sequins for some added interest.

Santa Present

I have a stack of DP sitting in my cupboard that I just never reach for anymore. But today I saw a pretty card made by Nancy Bramucci Sheads check it out here that she had created that really grabbed my eye.
I mixed it up a bit by changing my main focal point image and by using a die cut for my sentiment.

Spirit of Christmas

My last card for the weekend and it's another Christmas card. I bought the Sizzix Geo Floral Frame with some birthday money so wanted to try them out. I stamped my sentiment first then die cut 2 of the frames out of the set. They are very fine so I backed them with some double sided tape before cutting. I then die cut some holly branches and added red gems for berries and clear sequins for added interest. I then mounted the panel onto some more gold card and attached it to my base.
