Geometric Birthday

Today I found a geometric stamp in my stash for an upcoming male birthday. I stamped the image three times in Distress Ink : Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke & Black Soot. I made sure I left room for my sentiment which I stamped in the top right hand corner. I then framed my base with black card stock and pop dotted it onto the main card. I left it CAS for the male recipient, it took a lot of will power not to add bling...lol.

Today is all about You

I created my background by stamping a large background stamp and heat embossing it with white embossing powder. I then ink blended over the embossing with Distress Inks in an ombre mix of greens. I die cut my panel down and framed it with a slightly larger white frame. I stamped my moustache and fussy cut it out. I die cut my Happy Birthday three time on black card and layered them for some height and then stamped my sub-sentiment onto a strip of white card for contrast.

Have a Beautiful Day

I started today's card by stamping a CTMH background stamp with Watermark Ink then heat embossed it with White EP. I then blended DO's Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender & Seedless Preserves and wiped off any colour on the white embossed image. I added an oval die cut that I also lightly inked with DO Spun Sugar to tone down the busy background. I then die cut my flowers, twice with white card and once with a contrasting metallic card and layered them all together. I attached all my layers and white embossed my sentiment on black card stock and fussy cut around it before mounting it onto the card. I finished off with a few coloured pearls for some added interest.

Let's Celebrate

I've created today's card for my hubby. I die cut an oval shape and inked the space with DI's. I then stamped my trees and sentiment for a silhouette look. I stamped and white embossed a sub-sentiment and popped it up on foam tape and added a few black gems for added interest.

Thinking of You

I created today's card for a friend who's father has passed away. I started by blending Distress Inks in rainbow colours starting from the orange, through to the blue. I wanted to keep it simple so I flicked some water onto the background to give a little subtle interest and then stamped my sentiment and a couple of silhouette flowers.
