Merry Christmas

Woohoo!! I've finally started making Christmas cards! I created the background with my Gelli Plate them trimmed it down. I stamped my trees with DI's Iced Spruce and die cut my sentiment with gold card. I like 'easy' Christmas cards as you have to make so many of them!

Birthday Banner

Today's card has been made for a little chap having a birthday soon. I sponged my background with DO's and stamped and fussy cut my plane and banner after colouring them with Copics. I also stamped, embossed and fussy cut some clouds. To finish it off I framed the scene with red card to make it pop.

Hibiscus Birthday

Today's card is a monochrome floral card using some hibiscus stamps that I don't use enough. I used DI's Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon & Tumbled Glass for my flowers. I then die cut 'happy' three times and adhered them together, stamped my 'birthday' and framed it and the panel with a soft grey. I also added a few blue gems to finish the card off.

Wish Big

Finished my housework so snuck into my craft room for a play. I had this background card laying around in my stash that I had made previously with DO's and bubble wrap. I trimmed it down and added the bird stamp that I love but hardly ever use...why is that?? Stamped the birds and my sentiment then added a second sentiment to sort of make this a birthday card. I only really 'do' Birthday or Christmas cards so I wanted to be able to use it for a birthday. I then framed the panel with a soft grey card to give it a bit more substance and attached it to the base card.

Happy Happy Birthday

For today's card I used a large 'happy' die that I struggle with. I die cut it then added DP underneath. I used a sentiment from Altenew 'Label of Love' to sit over the large 'happy' and added some little flowers and leaves plus enamel dots for some added interest.

One of a Kind

Well I have finally stepped into the 'slimline' craze and made my first card. I saw a card created by Korin Sutherland that gave me inspiration for today's card. As I said to Korin...I like sunflowers but I don't seem to like sunflower stamps...go figure...but I really liked Korin's sunflower card so I dug out my one and only sunflower stamp that I had been given and used it for the first time.

Celebrate You

Today I have cased a card from a Jennifer McGuire youtube tutorial using white ink, sadly my white ink isn't white anymore so I used yellow ink. I sponged my background with DO Fossilized Amber then stamped my sentiment below where my butterfly was going and stamped tiny flowers in a soft yellow ink. I pop dotted my butterfly after adding a bit of glitter to it and finished the card off with jewels in the center of the flowers.

Lots of Love

I am having some serious issues with Blogger today! I don't know about everyone else but I do not like the changes they have made...arrrgh!!
Anyway, back on topic, my card has been in the making for a couple of weeks as it wasn't coming together for me. I created my background with DO's, die cut my circle frame and adhered it to the my panel. I then used my Misti to stamp half of my sentiment and then die cut the rest of my sentiment 3 times and glued them together for height. This is the first time that I have done that and I must admit I like the effect.
