Cheers it's your Birthday

Happy New Year! Let's hope 2021 is a better year for all. Today's card was created using my Geli Plate and some new stencils. I then  trimmed it down and mounted it on coloured card before adding to the base. I stamped and clear embossed 'cheers it's your' then die cut the 'birthday' several times and stacked before attaching to the card. As I feel this card is a bit 'male orientated' I kept it simple and just added a few black pearls for a bit of added interest.

Musical Birthday

I made today's card for our son who has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks. He likes the black & red colour combo so I went with that. I stamped some music for a background, stamped and fussy cut the guitar, die cut my 'happy' then stamped and coloured my 'birthday' in red and added a couple of red gems for a touch more of colour.

Just Because

Today's card was created for a swap group using these colours. I embossed my panel with a new embossing folder I picked up this week then cut white card to fit inside the frame. I then stamped my flowers onto the frame insert, stamped the flowers again on scrap, coloured and fussy cut them, inked the background and adhered my flowers and finished it off with a sentiment.

Winterscape

My new die set arrived this week so I was keen to try them out. I used a background I had created previously with DI's then stamped some fir trees and sentiment then pop dotted my die cut reindeer.

Spirit of Christmas

Today's card is clean and simple and another rush to make enough Christmas cards to put in the post. I love the way the snowflakes frame the sentiment, CAS is my go to style.

Rudolph & Friend

Today's card just evolved as I don't really do 'cute' cards but I do like this little Rudolph and I absolutely love my new 'wishes' die!

Wonderful Fabulous You

Scored a bit of play time in my craft room yesterday. I made my background with one of my Christmas presents...Distress Oxides...cut a stitched frame out with another Christmas present, added my favourite die cut flowers and finished it off with a sentiment I haven't used before. I must say, I gravitate to blues and yellows, probably because they look so fresh and my poppy die cuts are a fav, probably because they are always 'just enough'with out being over the top. Monochromatic Birthday

I've made this card with my cousin who is having a birthday next week. As it is a male card, I have gone with monochromatic colours and used one of my new dies and a bit of bling to make it pop a bit.

Happy Father's Day

Another quick card as I realised I hadn't made a Father's Day card which is this Sunday and as we are going away for the weekend, it was now or never! I tell you, I am more organised when I am working then when I have time off...I am into the last few days of my two weeks off and I am scrambling to make cards!! Anyway, this is one of the backgrounds I made last week with my Brusho's to have on standby for such occasions and I also got to use a couple of stamps that I haven't used before too, so I'm happy. I love these chunky sentiments! I am adding my card to the latest Sketch over at STAMPlorations and over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  they want 'Something starting with F' which is my Father's Day card and Lemon Shortbread have an Anything Goes challenge. I'm off for a weekend of music...hope you have a good one too. Thanks for stopping by...

Limited Edition

I had a late start to my stamping day today as I had a late night out dancing with my cousin and her friends. I love the dancing but late nights are not something I usually do... Anyway, I didn't intend to make a male card today, I actually intended on doing a floral card that I have had in my mind for a couple of days now...oh well, I'll get to it eventually. ;-)
So today for my male card I have taken up the challenge from STAMPlorations and used their latest sketch and  I have used the colour combo from the team at Stampin' Royalty. Hope your weekend is off to a great start and thanks for popping in...until next time, happy stamping!
