Joy

Today's card took longer than I thought it would. Firstly, I die cut my JOY sentiment and bauble. I then cut the 'o' out of joy so I could add my bauble in its place. I then used gilding flakes - gold and silver to embellish my text. I adhered them to my red base panel and added an embossed border top and bottom and then to finish off, added a sub sentiment.

Let's Celebrate You

Today's card was created with the off cut of my previous card. I stamped my large sentiment onto the off cut and used Clear EP to heat emboss it, die cut my sunflower twice and adhered them together, added a few highlights to the petal with Copic Markers and then layered it all to my base. I then added a few yellow acrylic dots for a bit of added interest.

Sending Hugs

I created today's card by inking rainbow colours with DO's : Wilted Violet, Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin & Candied Apple. I then die cut my hearts die on white card as well as the inked rainbow card. I adhered the white hearts to the coloured ones to give them a bit more height and then adhered them back into the white card panel. I then attached them to the card base, die cut my sentiment 'sending hugs' twice with white scrap card and once with black card, adhered them together and secured it to the card front, I also added a sub-sentiment to finish it off.

Spirit of Christmas

My last card for the weekend and it's another Christmas card. I bought the Sizzix Geo Floral Frame with some birthday money so wanted to try them out. I stamped my sentiment first then die cut 2 of the frames out of the set. They are very fine so I backed them with some double sided tape before cutting. I then die cut some holly branches and added red gems for berries and clear sequins for added interest. I then mounted the panel onto some more gold card and attached it to my base.

Christmas Wishes Come True

I created todays card by stamping a fir tree branch many times to create a Christmas tree. I stamped in DI Forest Moss & some DI Bundled Sage to add some shading. I then die cut my 'wishes' and stamped the rest of sentiment around the die cut and added gold gems for added interest.

Christmas Wishes

I created the base of my card with my Gelli Plate and DO's. I stamped my deer head then stamped another one and fussy cut it out and mounted it. I die cut my sentiment three times and attached them  together finishing it off with a top layer of glittery card stock. I then mounted the base onto the same glittery card stock and put it all together.

Merry Christmas

I needed to make a 'male' Christmas card so I have used a piece of card that I had previously washed with some ink, embossed it and layered it on DP. I die cut my reindeer head, stamped my sentiment and pop dotted both.

Quilted Floral Birthday

Today's card was inspired by Yana Smakula. I just love Yana's cards, pop on over to her site for a peek, link is here. I used a blue base card like the card I was casing, this is right out of my comfort zone but I thought, you like Yana's card so just roll with it. I don't have the same stamps so have adapted the design with what I have in my stash. I embossed the blue base card then stamped my 'happy' sentiment in blue and clear embossed it. Coloured some pre stamped flowers that I have been saving for a rainy day and fussy cut them as well as some leaves. Stamped my 'birthday' sentiment on to white card for contrast and added white square pearls on the bottom half of the card for some added interest.

Happy Mothers Day

Hi Stampers, today's card was inspired by Yana Smakula, I just love her cards. Firstly I worked out the placement of my die cut and sentiment. Stamped the sentiment then stamped my assortment of flowers. I then water coloured them with DO's, once they were dry I die cut my 'happy' and die cut it again with mounting tape. A bit didn't cut through properly so I'm not 100% happy but overall I love the end result.

Christmas Wishes

For this card I created the background with DO's and this is actually the left over piece. To me it gave me a wintery feel so I stamped some fir trees and before reinking stamped them again to make them look further away. I used my new 'wishes' die cut, I can see that one becoming a favourite and stamped my Christmas to finish off.
