Another card for my stamping Saturday...I made this CAS card background using Alcohol Inks on photo paper. I then added a sentiment and finished it off with some tiny punched flowers with pearls in the centre. I'm adding this card to the following challenges...

The third card on my list of cards to make today...this one is for my cousin and her soon to be husband. I have part embossed my card then popdotted some flowers randomly of the embossing. I also scored the edge of the embossing just to neaten the edge and finished if off with some blue pearls (the colour of her bridesmaid) and put a small sentiment in the bottom corner. I'm adding my card to the following challenges....

Christmas Squares

I'm still in Christmas mode at the moment and today I've used the latest sketch from the DT at CAS(E) this sketch. I picked out some Christmas words and then highlighted my main sentiment with red backing card and then put it up on some pop dots as well. I also added a small strip of red down the opposite side to add a bit more colour. Thanks for popping in....

One of a Kind Tag

 It feels so good to be playing in my Craft Room as it's been several weeks. Not only am I playing in my room but my stamping buddy was able to come and play for the morning as well. I have been that busy I didn't realise Tim Holtz had a new tag out! So that's where I headed to first to check out his creation for the month of June.

 I didn't really like the cup he put on his tag...just not my thing that's all...so since I haven't done anything with flowers for a while I dug out some old punches and dusted them off. I also used a new background stamp that I hadn't used yet and a few new Distress Inks - Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn & Twisted Citron that I have just bought.

After stamping my background and punching out my flowers, I even did some stitching on my tag...AGAIN...this is massive for me, believe me! I love the effect but usually just can't be bothered digging the sewing machine out but as I had left it out on my table from last time, it was still ready to go this time. I'm also entering my Tag into our friend group ABC challenge for the letter K. Thanks for stopping by....

Hello Blogger friends, I hope your week has been good and that you have a great weekend organised. Mine is off to a great start as I have been able to get an early start on my stamping afternoon by being able to sit down this morning due to a bye with sport this week. During the week I picked up this decorative trim and I couldn't wait to sit down and use it. Lucky for me, this weeks Mojo was perfect for it. I hope you like it, until next time....happy stamping.

Flower Punches

Every now and again I get the urge to make a card using punches. I saw a design similar to this one in a magazine and I really liked it...neat & simple. As you can see there is not too much stamping on this card but I like it. This type of card is also good for using up scraps which we all have plenty of...well I know I do!!
