Geo Birthday

I haven't posted for a while...life gets in the way. I created a few stenciled backgrounds a few weeks ago with Distress Oxides and this is the first card from that stash. I felt it was a male orientated card so I kept it simple. I layered my panel onto black card, thenI inked up some scrap card with DO Blueprint Sketch and die cut my sentiment twice. I adhered them together and attached them to my panel and added a sub-sentiment below. I did add a bit of Perfect Peals to the sentiment to give it a bit of a lift.

Christmas Lights

I created today's card by ink smooshing my background. Once dry, I then stamped my Christmas Lights top and bottom, coloured the globes with Copic markers and added some glass finish glue to give them a glassy look. I then die cut my greeting in white and it's shadow in purple and adhered it to the middle of my panel.

The Season of Peace

Adding to my Christmas stash because it is July...I created my background by swiping DI Forest Moss, Rustic Wilderness & Bundled Sage on my mini media mat. I spritzed my watercolour card stock and the distress inks then swirled my card stock to mix the colours. I did that a few times, drying my card in between swipes. I then die cut the panel and stamped my trees and sentiment onto the smaller panel. I also added tiny black dots with a fine point pen for a little added interest. I then layered the panel onto some dark green coloured card stock and layered that onto the full panel matching up the blotches. I finished the card off by foam mounting the front panel.

To You and Yours

Another card created by blending DO's to create my background. I then spritzed it with water as well as Perfect Pearls. Stamped and coloured my baubles with Copics then added a bit of glitter around the edges. Stamped 'with love' on one bauble and a sub sentiment on black card. Added some sequins for added interest and mounted it all onto some silver glitter card to finish off.

Christmas Wishes

I created the base of my card with my Gelli Plate and DO's. I stamped my deer head then stamped another one and fussy cut it out and mounted it. I die cut my sentiment three times and attached them  together finishing it off with a top layer of glittery card stock. I then mounted the base onto the same glittery card stock and put it all together.

Birthday Wishes

I started this card a few days ago but I wasn't happy with how it was going so I walked away and came back to it with fresh eyes. I had stencilled the background with just blue but I added some yellow which I felt gave it a bit more interest. I coloured my flowers and leaves with Copics then added a sentiment and some tiny stars and mounted it on black card to finish it off.

To Someone Special

Today's card has been a work in progress over the last couple of days. I stamped my flowers with
DI & DO's and added a little more colour with Tombows & Copic Markers. I then die cut a circle and added some more flowers and a sentiment then finished it off with some sequins.

Absolutely Blooms

A soft blue card today. I stamped my flowers and embossed with white EP, watercoloured them with DO's, stamped my sentiment and added the 'happy birthday' on contrasting card. I then layered my cards using a soft blue to frame it all and added a few sequins.

Musical Birthday

I made today's card for our son who has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks. He likes the black & red colour combo so I went with that. I stamped some music for a background, stamped and fussy cut the guitar, die cut my 'happy' then stamped and coloured my 'birthday' in red and added a couple of red gems for a touch more of colour.
