Hi Stampers, today I came across this 'old' sketch from the Creatively Yours blog. I wanted to make a card for a work collegue who retired today and I thought this would do nicely. The recipient is a male which is why I have used the olive & grey cardstock....I always struggle with male cards. Anyway, I think this has turned out quite nicely, hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by, until next time....

Deconstructed Sketch #32
Hello Fellow Stampers, I started off doing a Less is More challenge this morning but as the card started to get too many layers for their site, I went hunting for another sketch to use. I ended up using the latest Deconstructed Sketch but turned it upside down and I also got a shot of inspiration from Olena's blog (love her cards). When I started making this card, it was going to be for my sister in-law who's birthday is in January but I ended up making the card for our niece who will be 21 in March. She is off to Europe for the holiday of a lifetime in May and as one of her stops is Paris and as she has already started buying nick nacks of the places she is going too, I know for sure she will love the 'Eiffel Tower' on her card. I am really happy with this card, it is a lot busier than what I would usually make as I struggle with busy even though I like it when others do it. So, I hope you like it too. Until next time, happy stamping.

Mojo #221
Hi All, I am really enjoying my week off over the xmas/new year break...this is the third card I have been able to sit down and make over the last few days. I have used this weeks Mojo as inspiration for this card, I chose to do the round card as they are always a challenge for me for some reason. The colours are very different to what I normally gravitate to also but I do try to step outside the square every now and again and I think I have done it successfully with this one. I hope you like it, until next time, happy stamping!!

Simon Says Stamp 14th Dec '11
Hi Blogger Friends, I hope you and your family had a great Christmas day as my family & I did. Today we are having an easy day until we go out for a Boxing Day event with friends where there will be eating, drinking, backyard cricket, volleyball & swimming....fun for all!!
I had the urge to make a card on christmas eve when I had a little 'me' time but have only just found time now to post it. This is a sketch from Simon Says Stamp that I used. I have never participated in a SSS challenge but I think I will be doing more. I missed being able to submit my card for this challenge but here it is anyway.
Until next time, thanks for stopping by....

Mojo #220
This card was made using the latest Mojo. When I looked at it, I thought it lent towards a 'male' card so that is what I went with using dark blues & greys with a dash of yellow. Hope you like it, until next time all the best for the Festive Season, I hope you all have a great time whatever you are doing and where ever you are.

Deconstructed Sketch #28
I finally sat down and wrote on my xmas cards and found I am a few short....so now I have to make a few more cards which is really helping me get my mojo back. This is the latest Deconstructed Sketch that I have used as the design for my card. I had picked this paper out previously but didn't use it at the time so it has been laying on my desk which came in handy for this card as the colours were all sorted.
Well I am off to make a few more....bye for now.
Less is More #43 - A Bit of Bling
A BIT OF
Hi Stampers, I was doing a bit of surfing this morning and checked out the latest challenge on Less is More and lucky for me it was all about bling!! Well I had just made this card for my christmas stash and saw that it fitted in perfectly with this weeks challenge. Not only was it CAS which suits LIM but it has bling on it too. I really like this card and have made a few different ones using the same design but different stamps and colours. Hope you like it. Until next time, happy stamping and thanks for stopping by.

Mojo #216
Hi Blogger Friends....well I have lost my mojo a bit and am struggling to sit down and make some cards. I am that bad that I have even made my xmas cards but can't be bothered to write on them!!! Anyway, I know I have to snap out of it so my goal today is to make my daughter a birthday card and to write on my xmas cards and so far I have achieved 1 of the 2 goals. This is my take on this weeks mojo...not a lot or I should really say, no stamping (that will have to go on the inside just to make me feel better about that) but I think she should like it. The background paper/card is from a pack called 'Merci' Vintage Rose collection...there are some really nice prints in this pack and they also have 3 other packs I have come across and of course, I now have them too, as we do....LOL.... I picked these up in Big W for any of the aussies out there that stop by my blog. Well I hope you all have a great weekend, until next time, thanks for stopping by.

Mojo #215
Hello Stamping Friends...well it has been a couple of weeks since I have been able to sit down and make a card and its good to be back!! This card was made using this weeks Mojo Monday which I really like. I have made this card for my little neice who is turning the big 1 in a few weeks. Normally I don't get too involved with kids cards as kids are usually more interested in the present then the card, which is fair enough, that's the joy of being a kid. But even though it is a bit fancy for one of my 'kids' cards it is still simple enough. I really like the colours, I think they worked out nicely. Hope you like it too and thanks for stopping by. Until next time....

Deconstructed Sketch #26
Hello Happy Stampers, I had to make a card for my sister's upcoming 40th birthday and after checking out the latest Deconstructed Sketch and getting inspiration from Andrea Ewens card for that challenge, this is what I came up with. I used some new paper I bought recently and as it was purple..her favourite colour, I went with that. Hopefully she will like it and I hope you do too. Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Scrapbook Boutique October Challenge & JUGS #104
and last but not least.....here is the card I made for the Scrapbook Boutique October Challenge. I had been skyping earlier with Robyn and she told be to check out this challenge. I had looked at it previously but not got around to making a card for it. Luckily, I just happen to have some 'new' black & white papers so that really gave me the inspiration to have a go. I was still a little blank as to what sort of layout to do and after searching my regular sites came across the last JUGS design which I thought was quite nice...so, here it is and I hope you like it.
Well that's it for me today, once again, thanks for stopping by. Until next time, happy stamping.
