as Special as you are...

Hi Stamping Friends, well it has been a couple of weeks since I have sat down at my craft table and it feels good!! Last weekend I went to Melbourne for four days, not complaining, two concerts, 2 craft shops, a movie and visiting my long time bud but then it was straight back into work until this weekend which is of course is Easter so we have been away with friends and family at a beach hut relaxing....so nice. We got home at lunch time so after unpacking and doing some washing and other chores I have sat down to do a card...woohoo!! For this card I have taken up the challenge from the ladies at Dynamic Duo & CAS(E) this Sketch. I really like the end result nice soft colours with a hint of vintage...hope you like it too. Sketches: Creatively Yours - Card Week (March)

Hi Stampers...well I'm posting a touch early with my card as it is already Easter here which means we are off for the long weekend so I won't be here to post my very first card at the right time that I designed for Sketches: Creatively Yours as their new Card Designer!! Thank you ladies for giving me the honour of this position I am pleased as punch to have this role. Please make sure you pop on over and check the blog out and see the amazing creations that are posted over there by the talented artists. Blk & Yellow...Happy Birthday

Hello Stamping Friends, I have been lucky enough to get a bit of time while everyone's (aka The Kids) are asleep to make a card using the latest Dynamic Duo's colour combo. I must admit I don't really use yellow a lot so it was a definite change for me. For design I have used the current sketch over on CAS(E) this Sketch. Well I won't be back for a couple of weeks as I am off to Melbourne on Thursday to see Steve Miller & Santana in concert....CAN'T WAIT!!!  and I won't be back until Sunday afternoon then the following weekend is Easter and we will be going away for that weekend so until next time...happy stamping and thanks for popping by.

Happy Days...

I'm back with my last card for the day as my hubby and I are going out for dinner and a movie so I have to go make myself beautiful...lol....For this card I have taken up the challenge from the girls over at The Shabby Tea Room where they want white with one colour and include a frame. Hi Blogger Friends, I don't usually post on a Sunday but I am have an easy Sunday morning before I have to head off and do the regular ironing stint before the working week starts again. I am so happy I am able to play with the talented ladies over at Dynamic Duos today as I usually miss their posts because of the time zones. But today I can play!! woohoo!! and it's a stunning colour combo - turquoise & black...yummmm!!
