Mojo #209 & OCCC - Fall Colours

Hello Fellow Stampers, for this card I have combined two challenges...Mojo Monday & Our Creative Corner Challenge (Fall Colours). I must admit I struggled with this one as I have been away for a few weeks but I think it has turned out alright. What do you think??
As I still have another week of leave, I am looking forward to checking out tomorrows Mojo Monday as I don't normally get a chance to look at it until the weekend, so that is a bit exciting for me. LOL...it's the small things in life that make us happy.
Anyway, hope you have a had a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Less is More #36 - One Layer

Hi Blogger Friends,

Well I have been away for the last 3 weeks travelling through Europe with my family. We have just had the best holiday ever!!! We got home last night but as I was running on a bit of adrenalin, I was able to check out the latest LIM challenge and whip up a card with a heart on it. I cut out a scrap of paper the same size as the stamp and inked around the edge, then stamped the heart image. I then coloured in one heart, then added kindy glitz and when that dryed covered it with dimensinal magic.
Hope you like it.....it's great to be back stamping!!

Less is More #32

ONE LAYER CARD
entitled
SEEING DOUBLE

Well, I was able to get a couple of hours of quiet time to create a card for the LIM challenge this week as hubby is asleep after working night shift, son is at work & daughter is at a sleepover. This week it is a one layer card but you had to 'see double' and this is my creation. I hope you like it, until next time, happy stamping.

Lily Pad 'September'

Here is my Lily Pad 'September' Challenge....This time I only chose the colour pallete. I am really happy with this card, I think the raspberry butterfly really gives the other colours a lift.

Lily Pad 'August'

Hi All, I had a great day yesterday stamping with some old friends and some new friends (Hi Brenda & Ruth). We stamped right into the evening which is always fun!! My skype buddy Robyn was also there with us courtesy of skype. During the week Robyn & I had stumbled across the Lily Pad Blog where you make a card then post it on to someone on the list. As this is the August challenge, I have missed it but I have also made a card from the september challenge too but I can't post that one either as I will be away at the time you have send it. Even so, I decided to have a go at their challenges anyway. You are given three options...colour, sketch or theme. I chose the colour & sketch from August as I thought it would lend to a male card which is always hard in my opinion. I have made this for my nephew whose birthday is very soon so I hope he likes it. Thanks for stopping by....

Less is More #31 - Colour 2nd Card

Hi All, I made this card for my friend Robyn who also stamps and blogs. We have both been participating in the Less Is More challenges since we discovered this great site and she has encouraged me to post this card for the Colour - Metallic challenge even though I have submitted a card already. So, here it is, I hope you like it. Until next time, happy stamping.

Less is More #31 - Colour

Hi Stampers...well I hope your day is going better than mine because I have had a horrible day today at work!! So when I got home and saw my piece of shim that I had out for the latest Less is More challenge, I thought, yep, I am going to chill for a while and make the card that I had pictured in my head for this challenge. There is nothing like a bit of stamping to help wash your troubles away, for a little while at least.....
This weeks LIM Challenge is Colour and the colour chosen was 'Metallic'. It has been a while since I have played with shim and since then I have purchased some butterfly dies so this was a great chance to try and cut out some shim images with my dies. I am really happy with the butterfly and I think it really enhances the card, hope you like it too.
Great suggestion ladies and thanks for the inspiration too. Until next time, happy stamping and thanks for stopping by.

Mojo #206 & RobVik #11

Hi Everyone, well its Saturday again....yippee...that means a few hours of stamping which is always fun!! Today I have made a card using this weeks Mojo design & a RobVik Challenge Colour Design. For the RobVik, Robyn & I had to use - watermelon - chocolate - coffee & cream and for Mojo you pick - round or square....me being me chose square as round is really out of my comfort zone. If I get a chance I think I will actually have a go at round and be daring...well daring for me....<grin>
Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Less is More #30 - Recipe

Hello Stampers, I hope you are having a great weekend....I have stolen a bit of 'quiet time'....hubby away, son at work, daughter asleep, so I have snuck in to check the latest Less is More Challenge. I am only new to the LIM site and because of time differances, if I don't do it Sunday I miss out because I never get time to stamp during the week due to work and all the other trials and tribulations of family commitments in a working week. A couple of times I have made a card to post but by the time I get there to post it the challenge is closed...damn....lol. So anyway, the recipe this week is to pick 3 things from previous challenges, so I picked Embossing, Butterflies & White on White. This is the first card that I have actually completed and it has been entirely white on white. Usually half way through I give in an add another colour....so needless to say, I am very pleased with myself!! <big grin>
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your weekend & have a great week. See you next weekend.

Shabby Tea Room #76

Well I am back again....I saw this picture on the Shabby Tea Room site earlier this week and thought it was just soooo lovely that I would have a go at it. I am afraid my colours don't really give the picture justice but I am happy with the end result. I haven't posted at the Shabby Tea Room before so this is a bit exciting for me.This layout is also a previous Mojo Monday (#203) sketch that I really liked so thought I would use it again. Bye for now....

Here is a second card I have made using the Shabby Tea Room colours. Like I said, I think that picture is sooo gorgeous, so much so that it has me inspired to use colours that I would never normally gravitate to. I am much happier with this card, I think it does the colours much more justice.
Well, that's it from me for today as I have things to do and its not stamping....sadly.....
Until next time, happy stamping.

Mojo #205

Hello Crafting Enthusiasts....I have gotten an early start to my Saturday of Stamping and I must admit I was struggling with this weeks Mojo but luckily, it has come together much better than I thought it would. Sadly there is no stamping, instead I have cuttlebugged my image and sentiment. It has been a while since I have made any xmas cards so I thought I should really make some more...that way it takes the pressure off later in the year. Thanks for stopping by,

Less is More #29 - Theme #2

Hi All, I started this card last weekend but didn't get a chance to finish it. Lucky for me, I have a bit of free time so have been able to finish it off. I have already posted a card to Less Is More #29 but after seeing all those great cards and a few pushbikes, it reminded me that I had one myself and I haven't used it yet. So here it is!! Thanks for stopping by.
