Pretty Green Butterflies

Hi Stamping Friends, its been a while since I've posted on my blog but I'm here now with an early card for the week...well early for me as I don't usually get a chance to stamp until the weekend. Today's card has been made using the latest sketch from Feeling Sketchy with the latest colour combo with a Dessert Option of 'Plant Theme' from Dynamic Duos. This card turned out completely different from what I had pictured in my head but that's cool....Thanks for taking a peek.

Well this is my last creation for the day...I have to head off and pick my daughter up from work and then we are going to go to the movies. This card I made with my little nieces in mind....a happy, fun, bright card. The design is the latest challenge at Seize the Birthday and the colour combo is happening over at Inkspirational.
As always, thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!!

Tend a Garden - Gift Box

Hi All, it's a long weekend here is Australia to celebrate the Queen's Birthday so I am making the most of it with a bit of craft today and then some more on Monday when my friends come over to play. Here is another gift box I have just made...this is my third and I have already given away the first two. I am trying to get a bit of a collection of them as I want to use them at xmas time for pressies. I had my mother in-law in mind when I made this one but who knows, it mightn't still be here by December...lol. I am going to enter my creation into the colour challenge over at Colour Q as my colours fit into their latest challenge. Thanks for popping in...

Happy Birthday...Lemon & Aqua

Hi Fellow Stampers, this card has taken me all day to make as I keep getting interrupted with one thing or another. Even so, I am happy with the end result. I struggle with yellow which is why I was determined to make a card using it. For my design I have used the latest sketch from Cardabilities, I really like Teresa Horner's card and how she added a little something under the panel so I took that bit of creative inspiration and did something similar. For the colour combo on my card I have taken the challenge from the DT at The Shabby Tea Room to use these colours and to add some twine. I was lucky enough to actually have some yellow and white twine which goes perfectly with this combo. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

Happy Birthday....flowing flowers

Hi Stamping Friends...I have been busy today making a gift box for my Mum (pictured below) so I have only had a chance to make one card today. For todays card I have taken up the challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch and colourQ. I really like the simplicity of this card and the bit of 'free hand' scoring I did. Thanks for popping by and have a great weekend.

Gift Box

Hi Stampers, well I haven't made a card yet today but my best bud Robyn found this cute gift box and I had to have a go at making one. Make sure you check out Robyn's boxes (she's made more than one) here. We had planned to make some boxes and fill it with cards as presents and we have found several but Robyn finally found one that can be made out of one sheet 12" x 12" card and which is pretty easy to make too. Thanks for stopping by...

Butterflies are self propelled Flowers...

Hi Fellow Crafters, this morning I am posting a card that I made for the latest card sketch (which I designed teehee)  that is happening over at Sketches: Creatively Yours. The DT have made some awesome cards using the sketch so make sure you pop on over and play along with these lovely ladies.

If the world never changed....

Hi Stampers...Happy Mothers Day to all those Mum's out there and I hope you have all had a lovely day.
I was lucky enough to go and dine out for breakfast with my beautiful daughter this morning (that was just way to early for my son to be out of bed for...lol) and now that they are both at work, I have had some quiet time in my craft room making a card. A nice finish to my day....
For this card I have chosen the latest layout from CAS(E) this Sketch and the latest colour challenge from Dynamic Duos is where you can pick your favourite past colour combo and I really like this one - soft suede + pool party. As always, thanks for stopping by and until next time, happy stamping.

Live Well, Laugh Often..

Hi Stamping Friends, I have just finished a card that feels like it's taken all day to make....even so I am really happy with the end result. Once again, I have made my background using four of my distress inks. For this background I used Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar & Aged Mahogany. I then stamped a floral stamp randomly with Victorian Velvet then sprayed the card with Perfect Pearls Mist. I love how the mist just changes the whole look of the card. This layout is from Try Stamping On Tuesday and the colour combo is from Designer Seeds and was a challenge from my mate Robyn who sent me two combos that we are both going to use to make a card. I'm also adding my card to the challenges over at Alota Rubber Stamps  where they want 'ribbon/lace and at least one circle' and the challenge from Allsorts is a 'passion for flowers'. Well I'm off to find a layout for my next card...hope you are having a great Friday. Thanks for stopping by...
