Birthday Splash

Today's card was inspired by a card Jacquie made that I had seen on Pinterest and it just so happens to go with this weeks challenge at Freshly Made Sketches when you flip the layout. I just love the contrast of colour and the CAS style of this card. Thanks for the inspiration Jacquie.

Kookaburra Card

My hubby's birthday is tomorrow and he loves Australiana/Bush themes so when I saw this die, I knew it would be perfect for him. I have kept the card simple as he doesn't like 'busy' either, I just inked up a spotlight for the kookaburra and recut the die so that I could have a brown branch for him to sit on and finished it off with a sentiment and a couple of sequins (the girly thing kicked in lol). I'm posting my card to Uniko Studio challenge who want Masculine. Thanks for popping in....
