Floral Happy Days....

Hi Stampers, well it's taken all day to finish this card...it's my son's 17th birthday today so we have had visitors coming and going in between my son's, daughter's & hubby's work shifts. I'm the only one not working today but I have been in and out dropping or picking up and then visitors to wish Matthew a Happy Birthday. So, finally I am able to post my card before it starts all over again...picking up daughter, dropping her off at the annual show, dropping off son at the movies picking daughter and son up from their respective venues...should get home about 11pm tonight....sigh....the joys of motherhood. <grin>
Anyway, back to my card...for this card I have used the latest sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the colour combo is from the team from Color Throwdown. I really like these colours, lovely and soft. Thanks for popping in...

Delft Tile Card

Hi All, I'm still having a few issues trying to post my cards which is why once again I made this card yesterday but have only been able to post it this morning. I was surfing the stamping blogs the other day...as we do...and saw this great card that Susan had made - check her card out here - that I just had to have a go at making one. It was made using the Delft Tile Technique - check the tutorial out here, the latest sketch from Cardabilites the latest colour combo from Annabelle Stamps and over at CAS-ual Fridays, they want over the edge. Well I'm off to climb back into my bed to read for a little while as winter is coming to Australia and it's a bit nippy out. Pretty Green Butterflies

Hi Stamping Friends, its been a while since I've posted on my blog but I'm here now with an early card for the week...well early for me as I don't usually get a chance to stamp until the weekend. Today's card has been made using the latest sketch from Feeling Sketchy with the latest colour combo with a Dessert Option of 'Plant Theme' from Dynamic Duos. This card turned out completely different from what I had pictured in my head but that's cool....Thanks for taking a peek.

Happy Birthday Presents

Well this is my last creation for the day...I have to head off and pick my daughter up from work and then we are going to go to the movies. Tend a Garden - Gift Box

Hi All, it's a long weekend here is Australia to celebrate the Queen's Birthday so I am making the most of it with a bit of craft today and then some more on Monday when my friends come over to play. Here is another gift box I have just made...this is my third and I have already given away the first two. I am trying to get a bit of a collection of them as I want to use them at xmas time for pressies. I had my mother in-law in mind when I made this one but who knows, it mightn't still be here by December...lol. I am going to enter my creation into the colour challenge over at Colour Q as my colours fit into their latest challenge. Thanks for popping in...

Happy Birthday...Lemon & Aqua

Hi Fellow Stampers, this card has taken me all day to make as I keep getting interrupted with one thing or another. Even so, I am happy with the end result. I struggle with yellow which is why I was determined to make a card using it. For my design I have used the latest sketch from Cardabilities, I really like Teresa Horner's card and how she added a little something under the panel so I took that bit of creative inspiration and did something similar.For the colour combo on my card I have taken the challenge from the DT at The Shabby Tea Room to use these colours and to add some twine. I was lucky enough to actually have some yellow and white twine which goes perfectly with this combo. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
