3 Button Competition

Another entry for today....Robyn has found a competition where you make a card and it must have at least 3 buttons on it, buttons are not my thing as a few people know but here is my card. I actually quite like it so you never know, you just might see a few more of my cards with buttons on them. The challenge is for Scrapbook Boutique September Colour Challenge for anyone who would like to join in. Happy Stamping.

Mojo Monday #183

Well it's Saturday afternoon and here I am skyping and stamping with Robyn. We are both working on this weeks mojo and here is my 'take' on it. I have made it a bit man..ish as it is my hubbys birthday soon and if I like it enough he will get it. What do you think?

Mojo Monday #182

It's Friday!! I love Friday afternoons, it means the working week is over (for me)  and the weekend has only just started. This weekend, I am having a stamping weekend with my friend Estelle and hopefully skyping and stamping with Robyn in WA. Can't get better than that, unless of course if Robyn was with us in person.
So, here is my Mojo #182, I found this one an easy design so it didn't take too long to create. I was also able to use some scraps from last weeks mojo which makes me happy as I always have soooo much scrap. I just can't get myself to throw scraps away as you just might need it one day!! <grin>
I don't think you can tell by the pic but I have cuttlebugged the pattern paper with the 'script' embossing folder which reflects the stamped background.

Caitlin's Card

Well it is still raining in 'sunny' North Qld but we have had snippets of blue sky so hopefully the rain will be gone soon. This card I have made for my niece, she turns 20 soon, I hope she likes it. The design is a 2010 Mojo Monday design...#155

Mojo Monday #181

Well it hasn't been too sunny in Nth Qld over the last few weeks & it is a struggle to get the clothes dry...especially since my clothes dryer decided to pack it in. But today there is a few rays of sunshine, so hopefully today will be a good day for washing clothes!!
Yesterday I did some scrapbooking & made the latest Mojo while skyping with my friend who is definately in a sunny part of  Western Australia.

I didn't quite finish the card when I was called for dinner but I had to go, as my hubby had cooked it for us while I was crafting.

So here I am this morning with the finished product.

Card for a friend

10th March 2011

Well I have just joined the blogging club!! I did this as a spur of the moment...hmmm...lets see how it all goes. Be patient with me while I learn to navigate this site as this is all new to me.
Now to see if I can add a pic of one of my creations.

I saw this colour scheme in a stamping magazine and thought it looked really effective, so I had a go at it. I am quite happy with the result and intend on designing some more cards with these colours. I sent this card to a friend who I haven't 'talked' to in a while with an apology for being so slack. Sadly life (mainly work) gets in the way of the fun things in life a lot of the time. But, better late than never...hope you like the card.
