Birthday Splash

Playing catch up on birthday cards today as I haven't been able to get any creative time of late. for this card I have used Brusho's to create my back ground and DO's to create my splash. Framed the background with faux stitching to give it that little something and added my sentiment.

Hi All

Some people make the world Special

Hi Peeps, I created todays card by stamping some florals from Penny Black onto a watercolour background I created with DO. I used several DO to stamp the floral, Iced Spruce, Forrest Moss & Black Soot. I then watercoloured the flowers & butterfly with DO Salty Ocean & Seeded Preserve.
Stamped my sentiment and mounted onto some contrasting card.

A Cricketer's Birthday

I made today's card for DD's boyfriend, it is his birthday in a couple of days and he is a 'mad' cricketer. It was really nice to make a sporting card as most of the kids in our extended family are not really sporty.

I created the background with DO's and an embossing folder, die cut it with a stitched die and then cut another out to use as a frame. Fussy cut the cricketer and stamped my sentiment.

Birthday Balloons

I made this card for my son's birthday yesterday, I cased it from a card on Pinterest created by Scrappin' & Stampin' in GJ. DS likes red and black and I threw a bit of grey into break it up.

I'm adding my card to the following blogs:

Silver Christmas

Today's card is a Christmas card to add to my very small stash. I stamped the background with a large Christmas stamp in DI Hickory Smoke then layered with two blues. I then die cut the sentiment on silver paper to make it pop and mounted on foam tape.

Funky Floral Happy Birthday

Definitely my last card for the long weekend, sadly I have to go do the ironing. I have stamped some flowers on some card that I coloured with Distress Oxides (love them so much!) and fussy cut them. Off set and framed a layer with black card, mounted my flowers and die cut my 'happy' twice and glued together also a bit off set, stamped a 'birthday' and coloured with Tombow markers, added sequins to finish off.

Watercolour Florals

Another card for my long weekend...for this card I embossed my base card with my favourite cuttlebug folder and added a die cut stitched rectangle for my sentiment. I then stamped the blooms onto some watercolour card I had created with Distress Oxides and fussy cut them out then backed them with some leaves that I die cut out of a bit of scrap that I had also created with DO's, I then added a couple of pearls to finish it off.

Hatched Happy Birthday

For today's card, I have used a new die from Kaisercraft. I have backed it with a bit of left over card that I created using my Distress Oxides, cut a 'happy' out with a matching colour and finished it off with a stamped 'birthday'.

Happy Birthday to You

Today's card I used some left over background card I had created with DI's. As I really like the colours I didn't really want to cover it too much so I die cut these fine flowers and attached them then mounted a sentiment to finish if off. I let the flowers and the sentiment hang over the side of the card for a bit of interest.

Blossoms in Blue

Today I have a special birthday to celebrate, my Aunt is turning 80 and we are having a family lunch today to celebrate her milestone. As it has been a couple of weeks since I have made a card, I popped into my craft room last night to quickly whip one up. Luckily I had this background card laying around that I had made previously using Distress Oxides and stencils and as I didn't want to detract from the lovely soft colours and stencilled image I kept the rest CAS. I die cut a 'happy' stamped the 'birthday' and added some tiny flowers with jewels to finish it off. I am adding my card to the below challenges.
