Happy

My last card for the day and I am playing along with DT at Retro Sketches...I have used some Distress Ink background card that I made a while ago and fussy cut around the 'happy' die cut. I must admit this die cut is becoming a firm favourite. I then added a pennant and mounted a button for a bit of bling. Hope your Monday is off to a good start and thanks for stopping by...

Season's Greetings Wreath

Well I'm back from a couple of weeks where I have not had any inclination to stamp....but today I am feeling good even if my internet is crap at the moment. It is great to be sitting at my desk talking to my friend via skype whenever my internet doesn't drop out...sigh...technology is great when it's working...anyway, back to my card...another Christmas card for my collection and for this layout I have used the latest Retro Sketch and the latest colour combo from colourQ and Just Us Girls and Festive Friday want a wreath. I made my wreath out of snow flakes as I don't have any wreath stamps and I remembered seeing someone else do this some where when I was surfing the blogs which I thought was pretty cool. So I'm off to find another challenge, hope your Saturday is off to a great start, thanks for popping by.

For this card I have used the latest design from Retro Sketches and made another Christmas Card for my growing stash which is always a good feeling. I hope your week is going well and that you have a great weekend planned buy the looks at the moment mine is going to be a busy one. Until next time, happy stamping and thanks for popping by.

December 25...

Well friends...this is my last creation for 2013! I am off to have a swim (and a drink) in the pool with my hubby before the neighbors come over for New Years drinks. I can't believe how quick this card came together for me and I am happy that I was able to use some new Annabelle stamps I got last month. For this card I have taken up the challenge from the Retro Sketches team. I usually struggle with this type of design but this one just fell into place. Until tomorrow...2014....all the best and I hope the new year brings you lots of love and good fortune. Happy New Year!!

sending hugs your way..

Hi Stamping Friends, I have been able to sneak out to my craft room and have a bit of me time. It is very rare that I get to do any stamping through the week so this was a nice afternoon. I was also able to hook up with my mate Robyn who was at her craft desk too and skype while making my card. It was actually after talking to her that got my inspiration going. This is a very busy card, not really my style at the moment. I seemed to have moved to CAS for the minute. I don't know about you, but I tend to flip flop a bit with styles...I am really happy with how this card turned out and once again it has flowers on it...make no mistake, I am definitely in a 'flower' craze at the moment. Anyway, for this card I have used the latest Retro Sketches design and the colour inspiration has come from the challenge over at Inspired by Stamping.
I hope your week is going well, I'm off to watch the footy...Go Queensland!! Lets make it 8 in a ROW!!

The Fish and The Stopwatch...

Hi All, I made this card last night while skyping with my friend Robyn. I wasn't able to post it as my son's computer 'takes over' the internet and my blog wouldn't bring up the window to add my photo. So here I am early this morning to get in while he's asleep...the things we do....
I really like this card and I gained a lot of inspiration from Kasia who's part of the DT for Retro Sketches. This is Retro's latest sketch and the theme over on CASology this week is 'Fish'. Thanks for stopping by...

Happy Birthday birdies

Well....I don't know where this card came from...I don't do cute & I don't colour in..but here is a card with both of those things! This is a new stamp set I bought as I don't have many 'kid' orientated stamps but as I now have two little nieces I thought it wouldn't hurt to buy some. I must admit it was hard to actually buy them because they are so cutesy. lol!! Anyway I am posting this card over on Retro Sketches for the design and on Colour Throwdown for the colour combo. I'm off to find some more inspiration...thanks for popping by.

Butterflies & Blooms

Hi Stampers...I am back with another card. I have had a good morning stamping with my best bud who is in town for a few weeks before the move onto Rockhampton...then we will be stamping & skyping on Saturdays again. I really liked the card Kasia made over on Retro Sketches and I really like the colour combo over at Dynamic Duos (my second card for this colour combo) so for this card I have inked my background with my Distress Inks using a die shape to create the shape of the image. I then punched out my flowers with a Martha Stewart flower border punch and softly inked the edges with the same Distress Ink...the butterflies are also a Martha Stewart punch. CAS....love it!! As always thanks for stopping by...

RS #36 + JAI #143

Hi Stamping Friends, I am here posting my first card for the weekend. I didn't think anything was going to happen for a while there as I have had some major internet problems today but luckily we have sorted it out and I am back online!! It's like losing an arm when you lose internet...well for me anyway...lol!! I really liked this layout but in the end it was a bit hard but I think that was the colour combo making it a bit tough. After persisting I am quite happy with it. The design is the latest Retro Sketch and the colours are from Just Add Ink make sure you check them out. Well thanks for stopping by...see you tomorrow sometime. Happy Stamping..

Retro Sketches #32

Hi Stampers...I am back with another card. For this card I have used the latest Retro Sketches design and I chose to do a monochromatic colour scheme with browns. Once again, I have used some new stamps, I don't know about you but I struggle with 'male' cards so it is always a good feeling when you finish one...lol...
Anyway, I hope you are having a great weekend, until next time, happy stamping!!
