Just Because you're Fabulous

I finished this card late yesterday but I am only getting a chance to post it now...I have a few thank you cards to make as I said in a previous post and this is the first of them. For this card I have used the latest layout (turned on it's side) and colour combo from Inspired by Stamping...I just love the colours and as I have really slipped into a CAS style of card doing layers really makes me think these days. I'm also adding my card to the latest Allsorts challenge who's theme is Flower Power. Hope your week has been going well and as always, thanks for popping by.

Joy to the World

Another Christmas card for my collection...for this card I have used the colour combo and the photo inspiration from Inspired by Stamping. I stamped the wreath in the two purples then added teal pearls to jazz it up a bit. I also mounted one of the IBS Holiday Sentiments onto teal card then mounted it off the base card to make it pop. Thanks for popping by....

Dainty Floral Birthday Card

Well this is my last post and one of my favourites that I have made over the last few days. I got the inspiration for this card from a card made by the Inspired by Stamping team. I didn't have any stamps like the ones used but I created a similar card with what I did have.I love the end result even though it took a couple of goes to get the flowers right lol.
Thanks for the inspiration ladies, this card is stunning!!

Forever Friends

Lucky me...I'm spending my Easter Monday in my craft room while skyping with my mate Robyn! I hope your Easter has been lovely, we have had a very quiet one as hubby has had to work all weekend. We will be making up for it next weekend which is another long weekend in Australia due to the ANZAC public holiday on Friday. We usually go and support the ANZAC parades which are to acknowledge our men & women that have served in the Australian & New Zealand military in past and present conflicts but this year we are having a weekend away with family and friends staying out our friends beach hut. Autumn is a beautiful time of year in North Queensland so it is going to be a lovely weekend up there and it should be a bit quieter than this weekend would have been we hope, as most people go away for Easter, we would think they won't go away two weekends in a row...either way, I am really looking forward to it.
Anyway, back to my card...The Friday Mashup have a sketch and they would like it done in the Ombre technique...I've never heard of this before but apparently it means graduated colour, so I have taken up their challenge and the colour combo I have chosen is the latest one over at Inspired By Stamping. Make sure you pop on over to both challenges and check them out...I'll be back a little later with another card hopefully, until then happy stamping.

May your day be a special one...

I'm back with my second card for my stamping Saturday...today instead of Skyping while stamping with my good friend Robyn...I'm Skyping and stamping with my sister in-law Vikki....yes we both have the same name AND spelt the same way so we have to differentiate with our surnames. We've gotten used to it after 32 years but it's harder for our friends and relies hehe. Anyway, Vikki R used to live in the same city as me but she moved to Tasmania a couple of months ago...so since Robyn is busy spending Easter with her children & lovely new granddaughter, Vik & I are having our very first Skyping Saturday. So, back to my card...for this card I have taken up the challenge from Inspired By Stamping where you can pick the sketch or the colours or have flowers or...have them all....which is what I chose. Make sure you pop on over and join in the fun and as always, thanks for stopping by...

Have a wonderful day...

Well I'm on a bit of a roll today, this is my third card and after saying in my last post I'm liking 'quick & easy' here I am with a not so 'quick & easy' card. My friend Robyn told me to have a look at the latest sketch from the team at Cardabilities....and I was sold!! I haven't made a card with my little flowers on it for a while so I was happy to play along. For my colour combo I have taken up the challenge from Inspired by Stamping's by using their third colour combo. The embossing folder I used is a favourite so it felt good to using it again too. Make sure you pop on over and check out the challenges and  thanks for stopping in.

Merry Christmas

I'm back with my second card for today...for this design I have taken up the challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch. I was lucky enough to win these stamps last year and knew they suited the sketch perfectly. I have also used another one of the colour challenges over at Inspired by Stamping. I sponged around the the image with my distress inks again and then spritzed it with a pearl spray which has enhanced a very plain card just nicely. Make sure you pop on over and check out the challenges and join in. Thanks for stopping by...

True Friends....

Hi All, I've been playing around with my Distress Inks & sprays today and using one of the latest colour combos from Inspired by Stamping, I created this card. It was a nice easy card with an old 2 step flower from Stampin' Up and then I just added a few pearls to finish it off...I'm really into quick and easy at the moment. Thanks for stopping by...

Well I did make it back with another Christmas card but looking at my photo it doesn't look very clear and I think it's because I have added a watermark, I will check it out after I've posted. Anyway for this card I'm actually entering it into several challenges!! My design is from Freshly Made Sketches, my colours are from Inspired by Stamping, Inkspirational have a card to CASE, Cards in Envy want Birds and Christmas Cards All Year Round are having a Christmas Extravaganza and want fussy & fancy...check to all of the above!! Well I'm off to do a bit of blog surfing, hope your day is going well. Until next time, happy stamping.

sending hugs your way..

Hi Stamping Friends, I have been able to sneak out to my craft room and have a bit of me time. It is very rare that I get to do any stamping through the week so this was a nice afternoon. I was also able to hook up with my mate Robyn who was at her craft desk too and skype while making my card. It was actually after talking to her that got my inspiration going. This is a very busy card, not really my style at the moment. I seemed to have moved to CAS for the minute. I don't know about you, but I tend to flip flop a bit with styles...I am really happy with how this card turned out and once again it has flowers on it...make no mistake, I am definitely in a 'flower' craze at the moment. Anyway, for this card I have used the latest Retro Sketches design and the colour inspiration has come from the challenge over at Inspired by Stamping.
I hope your week is going well, I'm off to watch the footy...Go Queensland!! Lets make it 8 in a ROW!!

IBSIC #26 + Colour Q #154

Hi Fellow Stampers, I didn't quite get this card finished yesterday so I have stolen a bit of time today in between chores to complete it. For inspiration I used the latest sketch from Inspired by Stamping and for colour I have used this weeks Colour Q challenge. I felt this wasn't working for me while I was putting this card together but since putting a bit of bling on it I am quite happy with it. Well that's it for me until next weekend when I will be on holidays for 2 weeks so you can guess what my intentions are for a lot of that time...stamping, stamping, stamping!! woohoo can't get any better than that. Until then, happy stamping.
