Happy Birthday Banner

I have a few female birthdays coming up so flowers were an easy pick. I stamped my flowers multiple times and then coloured them in with Tombow Markers and a Waterbrush. Framed my image with a contrasting colour and added my die cut sentiment onto a strip of the card I used to frame my card.

I am adding my card to the following challenges:

Birthday Bubbles

A wet Saturday here in North Queensland, Australia but that's a good thing as we desperately need the rain and it makes it a perfect day to play in my craft room. I have a male 50th coming up next week and I really didn't know what to do for the card but after seeing the latest sketch over at CAS Colours & Sketches, I thought this would work nicely. I had some premade master board laying around which I thought would look good framed in black so that's what I went with. I stamped the bubbles, highlighted a few with white gel pen and mounted the sentiment over the top. I'm adding my card to the following challenges....

QKR Stampede - CAS
A Vintage Journey - Circles
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes

to my wonderful FRIEND

And another card for my stamping Saturday...for this card I have taken up the challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches where they have a double challenge happening. They want you to make a card using the colour combo and the sketch. I started off using my DI's but they didn't stamp clearly for my 'banner' stamp so I dug out my chalk inks which I must admit haven't seen the light of day for a very long time but the troopers that they are...they stamped like I had only bought them yesterday!

Those who don't believe in magic....

Here is another card for the latest challenge over at CAS - Colours & Sketches where they are having a double challenge with a colour combo & sketch. I really like this DP and thought it suited the layout over at CAS so I made a card using it this time with a pretty little blue butterfly....flowers and butterflies....my favourite theme. Hope you like it and thanks for popping in.

Happy Birthday My Dear Friend....

I'm back with another card and this one has been created using the colours & sketch from CAS - Colours & Sketches. My good friend Robyn put me onto this blog...it's always nice to find another challenge site. This weeks challenge is a double challenge which has a sketch & colour combo to do. I really liked the colours as they are nice and soft with a pop of razzleberry. I was given a Jelli Plate for my birthday by another good friend and have only just had a chance to play with it. You are really supposed to use paint on them but I don't 'do' paint so I experimented with it using distress inks and am quite happy with how it came out. I'm also posting my card over at Simon Says Stamp where they want 'twine or string'. Thanks for stopping by....
