Sentiment Tree

Today's card is a soft pastel Christmas card, more colour than what the pic is showing. I created the watercolour look with DO's Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and lots of water. I brushed the colours on then when it was dry, I stamped my sentiment tree and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I mounted it onto a soft green card and adhered it to the base then added a few clear sequins for some added interest.

Wish Big

Finished my housework so snuck into my craft room for a play. I had this background card laying around in my stash that I had made previously with DO's and bubble wrap. I trimmed it down and added the bird stamp that I love but hardly ever use...why is that?? Stamped the birds and my sentiment then added a second sentiment to sort of make this a birthday card. I only really 'do' Birthday or Christmas cards so I wanted to be able to use it for a birthday. I then framed the panel with a soft grey card to give it a bit more substance and attached it to the base card.

Framed Birthday Wishes

I created today's card by stamping my image with DO Wilted Violet, then watercoloured the flowers with the same ink. I then went over the stems with a brown Tombow and coloured the centres with a pastel gel pen. Added my sentiment, framed it for a bit of extra interest and finished off with some sequins.

Hello There

Hi All, I felt like going tropical today, since I live in the tropics and had to make a 'zesty' card for a swap. I stamped my sentiment as a focal point, then my leaves in assorted DO greens. I stamped my flower in a bright pink and fussy cut it. Pop dotted it to my card then finished it all off with some green pearls.

Christmas Wishes

For today's card I have used some left over background card I created with Brusho's. I die cut my Christmas with a new die and stamped the rest of my sentiment. I also added a Christmas star to add a little something more as the 'i' didn't have a dot above it.

Birthday Bird

My card today is a fresh coloured card. I started off by masking off a section with painters tape, then stamped my flowers randomly. I then coloured them with DI + DO's and added my sentiment. I had to add the bird as I got ink in the wrong spot...gotta love that...not!! Anyway, I quite like him as he gives the card a bit more character.

Forever Together

Today's card has been made for a young couple who are getting engaged soon. I had made this masterboard a few weeks ago and loved how it turned out so I thought I would use it for the main focal point of my card. I then die cut some hearts and forever which I mounted on a banner, then stamped a small sentiment under it and finished it off with some pearls. I just love the freshness of the colours and hopefully the young couple will to.

Monochromatic Birthday

I've made this card with my cousin who is having a birthday next week. As it is a male card, I have gone with monochromatic colours and used one of my new dies and a bit of bling to make it pop a bit.

Christmas Squares

I'm still in Christmas mode at the moment and today I've used the latest sketch from the DT at CAS(E) this sketch. I picked out some Christmas words and then highlighted my main sentiment with red backing card and then put it up on some pop dots as well. I also added a small strip of red down the opposite side to add a bit more colour. Thanks for popping in....

Christmas Wishes

Hi Bloggers, for todays card I have used the latest challenge from CAS(e) this Sketch and decided to add to my Christmas stash. A very simple card using some DP and a die cut I have had floating around on my desk for months, I haven't used DP in ages and yet I have a massive pile of it....note to self, use your DP more often. :-)  Thanks for stopping by...

Blue Bird

It's been a while since I have made a card, so it was great to sit at my desk and make one. For today's card, I have gone with the latest CAS(e) this Sketch challenge. I used my DI's to make the background (Brushed Corduroy) and to stamp my bird (Chipped Sapphire) as well. This is my favourite bird stamp, I love the image and how he stamps so perfectly every time. I fussy cut him out and put him on some pop dots as well as my sentiment. Thanks for stopping by...
