Pastel Blends

I created today's card by stamping a collection of flowers and embossing them with White Embossing Powder. I then blended Saltwater Taffy, Carved Pumpkin & Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks over the panel and die cut the piece I wanted to use. I then die cut a smaller panel and used foam tape to give it some height before putting it back into its original location. I die cut my sentiment out of a bit of the blended scrap, layered it onto its base of white card and added a sub-sentiment and a white butterfly to finish it off.

Congrats with Wine and Sparkle

Today's card was created for our nephew and his fiancé who have gotten engaged. I stamped my image and then arranged my letters around the image before die cutting them. I then backed it with glitter cardstock and lightly coloured the wine and bubbles before attaching it with mounting tape.

Friendship Orchid

I created today's card by colouring my stamp with Tombow markers and spritzing it with water before placing my water colour card on top. I used my Misti to refresh my colouring and to re-stamp the image until I was happy with the coverage. I did go back with a paint brush and added a bit of watered down Dusty Concord DI to the flowers a bit and I also splattered a bit of Black Soot DI over the front panel.

I then die cut the 'friend' sentiment in coordinating colours with a shadow die and stamped the 'hello' above my die cut. I then mounted it on black card and added a few clear sequins for added interest.

Sent With Love

Today's card was made for my SIL's birthday. I did something a bit different and die cut a piece of the front card and replaced it with holographic plastic. I surrounded the plastic with flowers and positioned and stamped my sentiment where it could be read even when the card is closed. I added a few sequins and gems to finish it off.

Bold JOY

Today I have created my background card by blending DO's Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers & Lucky Clover. I then stamped some flourishes on the background with water and also spritzed the background with a bit more water. Once dry, I then stamped my large sentiment and heat embossed with gold as well as my sub sentiment on a scrap of black card. I layered the blended card onto some gold card and pop dotted my sub sentiment and added a few gems for added interest.

Believe...

I created today's card by firstly swiping my embossing folder with DO Broken China then running it through my Cuttlebug. I then die cut my Christmas sentiment with white card and the base in a contrasting holographic plastic. Layered it all and added a sub sentiment and some clear sequins and tiny blue stars to finish if off.

Celebrate You

Today I have cased a card from a Jennifer McGuire youtube tutorial using white ink, sadly my white ink isn't white anymore so I used yellow ink. I sponged my background with DO Fossilized Amber then stamped my sentiment below where my butterfly was going and stamped tiny flowers in a soft yellow ink. I pop dotted my butterfly after adding a bit of glitter to it and finished the card off with jewels in the center of the flowers.

Merry Christmas

I needed to make a 'male' Christmas card so I have used a piece of card that I had previously washed with some ink, embossed it and layered it on DP. I die cut my reindeer head, stamped my sentiment and pop dotted both.
