Watercolour Birthday

I made today's background by swiping some Distress Oxide inks onto my work surface, spritzing the ink with water and laying my card down over them. I dried it off with a heat tool, die cut my panels, some small florals and the 'happy' for my sentiment. Once I had worked out my layout, I stamped my 'birthday' to complete my sentiment and I also spritzed a bit Perfect Pearls Mist to add a little bit of shiny interest.

Gilded Birthday

Today's card was inspired by Christine Stokes, I have been watching her You Tube Tutorials see here where she uses gilding flakes a lot. I have had some in my craft room for a very long time but have rarely used them, Chrissie has inspired me to get them out and to play with them.
I have kept the card very CAS as I believe the gilding flakes are the feature, to be honest the photo doesn't do it justice.

Rainbow Birthday

I picked up a set of 3 stencils from K Mart this week and this one was calling my name! After watching a Gina K tutorial check it out here where she was making rainbow backgrounds with acrylic blocks, I decided to combine the background technique and my new stencil to make a bright birthday card. I swiped my DI's in rainbow order onto my block, then spritzed with water and stamped onto my card. I then layered my stencil and blended the same colours over the same coloured area to produce my pattern. I then die cut my birthday sentiment three time and stacked them for dimension and added a banner with my sub sentiment. To finish off, I foam mounted the panel and I added a few clear sequins for added interest.

#HAPPYDAY

I created today's background with my Gelli Plate and DO's. Once dry I then stamped floral images for a bit of interest in the background, stamped and clear embossed my silhouette flower then mounted the panel on white and black card. I added my sentiment and finished it off with some Liquid Pearls - White Opal.

Birthday Banner

Today's card has been made for a little chap having a birthday soon. I sponged my background with DO's and stamped and fussy cut my plane and banner after colouring them with Copics. I also stamped, embossed and fussy cut some clouds. To finish it off I framed the scene with red card to make it pop.

Happy Happy Birthday

For today's card I used a large 'happy' die that I struggle with. I die cut it then added DP underneath. I used a sentiment from Altenew 'Label of Love' to sit over the large 'happy' and added some little flowers and leaves plus enamel dots for some added interest.

Mr & Mrs

The third card on my list of cards to make today...this one is for my cousin and her soon to be husband. I have part embossed my card then popdotted some flowers randomly of the embossing. I also scored the edge of the embossing just to neaten the edge and finished if off with some blue pearls (the colour of her bridesmaid) and put a small sentiment in the bottom corner.
