Less is More #43 - A Bit of Bling

Hi Stampers, I was doing a bit of surfing this morning and checked out the latest challenge on Less is More and lucky for me it was all about bling!! Well I had just made this card for my christmas stash and saw that it fitted in perfectly with this weeks challenge. Not only was it CAS which suits LIM but it has bling on it too. I really like this card and have made a few different ones using the same design but different stamps and colours. Hope you like it. Mojo #216

Hi Blogger Friends....well I have lost my mojo a bit and am struggling to sit down and make some cards. I am that bad that I have even made my xmas cards but can't be bothered to write on them!!! Anyway, I know I have to snap out of it so my goal today is to make my daughter a birthday card and to write on my xmas cards and so far I have achieved 1 of the 2 goals. This is my take on this weeks mojo...not a lot or I should really say, no stamping (that will have to go on the inside just to make me feel better about that) but I think she should like it. The background paper/card is from a pack called 'Merci' Vintage Rose collection...there are some really nice prints in this pack and they also have 3 other packs I have come across and of course, I now have them too, as we do....LOL.... Mojo #215

Hello Stamping Friends...well it has been a couple of weeks since I have been able to sit down and make a card and its good to be back!! This card was made using this weeks Mojo Monday which I really like. I have made this card for my little neice who is turning the big 1 in a few weeks. Normally I don't get too involved with kids cards as kids are usually more interested in the present then the card, which is fair enough, that's the joy of being a kid. But even though it is a bit fancy for one of my 'kids' cards it is still simple enough. I really like the colours, I think they worked out nicely. Hope you like it too and thanks for stopping by. Deconstructed Sketch #26

Hello Happy Stampers, I had to make a card for my sister's upcoming 40th birthday and after checking out the latest Deconstructed Sketch and getting inspiration from Andrea Ewens card for that challenge, this is what I came up with. I used some new paper I bought recently and as it was purple..her favourite colour, I went with that. Hopefully she will like it and I hope you do too. Thanks for stopping by, until next time.

Scrapbook Boutique October Challenge & JUGS #104

and last but not least.....here is the card I made for the Scrapbook Boutique October Challenge. I had been skyping earlier with Robyn and she told be to check out this challenge. I had looked at it previously but not got around to making a card for it. Luckily, I just happen to have some 'new' black & white papers so that really gave me the inspiration to have a go. I was still a little blank as to what sort of layout to do and after searching my regular sites came across the last JUGS design which I thought was quite nice...so, here it is and I hope you  like it.

Less is More #38

POLKA DOTS

 

Good Morning Fellow Stampers...It is a lovely Saturday morning here in North Queensland, Australia. Summer is not quite here but enough to make it a lovely sunny day, good to be outside..but better yet a good day to be stamping!!



I have sat down early to make the latest Less Is More challenge...hopefully it is still open when I go to post it. This week it is 'Polka Dots' so I have cheated and used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots to add the 'polka dots' to my card. As usual of late, it is a xmas card, helping me to take the stress out of making my xmas cards instead of the mad rush that I usually have each year.

Hello Fellow Stampers....I hope you are all having a great weekend. I am glad it is the weekend as this was my first week back at work and I really struggled to get motivated. But, right now, I am happily doing what I love...stamping!! This is my take on this weeks Mojo Monday. Hi Fellow Stampers...Today I have made a 'new baby' card for a friend using this weeks Mojo design. I must admit, I cheated a bit...I had made a similar little boys card a few months ago and as I really liked the colours and image I used them again. I find it really hard to make kids cards, probably because I know they are more interested in the present...LOL...anyway, thanks for stopping by, hope you like it.

the DS #22 & C4C#108 - Leaf

Hi Stampers, After doing my chores this morning like a good girl, I stole a bit of 'me' time to sit down and make a card with my stamping buddy Robyn. For this card, I combined two challenges again by using the Deconstructed Sketch #22 and Crazy4Challenges challenge of using only leaves with a couple of other rules. Wellll, my original idea was to cut the palm tree out but after stamping the image I just couldn't quite do it. I know most stampers will be doing 'autumn' as it is that time of year for them, but for us Aussies, it is spring which is really more like summer. So, I have gone with a 'summer' card. Mojo #209 & OCCC - Fall Colours

 Hello Fellow Stampers, for this card I have combined two challenges...Mojo Monday & Our Creative Corner Challenge (Fall Colours). I must admit I struggled with this one as I have been away for a few weeks but I think it has turned out alright. What do you think??

As I still have another week of leave, I am looking forward to checking out tomorrows Mojo Monday as I don't normally get a chance to look at it until the weekend, so that is a bit exciting for me. LOL...it's the small things in life that make us happy.

Less is More #36 - One Layer

Hi Blogger Friends,

Well I have been away for the last 3 weeks travelling through Europe with my family. We have just had the best holiday ever!!! We got home last night but as I was running on a bit of adrenalin, I was able to check out the latest LIM challenge and whip up a card with a heart on it. I cut out a scrap of paper the same size as the stamp and inked around the edge, then stamped the heart image. I then coloured in one heart, then added kindy glitz and when that dryed covered it with dimensinal magic.
