Lamp post

As promised, I'm back with another post and another card for this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I'm really happy with this card and even more happy that I've used my lamp post stamp that I have had for a while but not got around to using. I also used my new water brush to colour in my lights and flowers..woohoo...I have wanted one since I saw my mate Robyn using one and finally got one this week. Over at The Card Concept the have a great colour combo and they also want you to create a card using one of the styles the DT have done....I have chosen Clean & Simple. Happy Birthday floral banner....

 Hi Fellow Stampers, it is a bit of a dreary day here with no real rain just annoying drizzle which makes it hard to get your washing dry. Anyway onto better things...here is my first card for my stamping Saturday, as I've said before I love the CAS(E) this Sketch challenges and they are my first stop each Saturday. For today's card, I've used a new Spellbinder die that I bought this week while I was away for work. I am a travelling sales rep and one of my stops is at a small township called Babinda which has a really great craft shop. Scraptherapy is also an online store so if you get a chance check it out...sadly...I am that much of a regular that even if they are actually closed to the public, she will always let me in to shop as she knows I am just passing through which is what happened this week. I went in for one thing but of course came out with more than that...hehe....
So, this weeks card I've made using the latest CAS(E) this Sketch for my design and I've also used the latest colour combo from Colour Me! Hope your day is going well, I'll be back soon with another post, see you then.

This is my last card for the day...I have to go and start getting organised for a good friends 50th. For this card I have used the latest sketch from Cardabilities, the latest colour combo from Colour Me and over at CASology they want Flowers. I actually made my background paper and the pink flowers I have used. I actually have to make some more of those little flowers as I've run out. Another post for my stamping Saturday...for this card I have used the latest sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch, a nice bright colour combo from colourQ and CASology want flowers....who doesn't love flowers?? I also got to use a sentiment from a new set of stamps I received this week from the Inspired by Stamping store . Todays post is a card I made last week for our little circle of friends May challenge. I wasn't able to post it last week as we had Internet problems...a continual problem for us because of where we live...very frustrating!! Anyway, there are three of us playing along and this month Vikki R picked the layout - an old CAS(E) this Sketch layout - Robyn picked the photo inspiration and I chose to use a new or old stamp that hasn't been used for a very long time.The stamp I've used is one of my first stamps ever bought and I still love it even if I don't use it very much. My butterfly is an unusual colour and actually looks better in real life then in the photo, I could of used a lady beetle stamp but I chose to step outside the box and do something different. you brighten my day

Here's another card for the latest Annabelle Stamps challenge...like I said in my previous post, I really liked the DT cards for this months challenge. While surfing recently I had noticed a card where the image was cut through then part of it popped up on mounting tape, I really liked this and it has been on my to do list so when I saw this card by Therese it really grabbed my eye as well so I have used her card for inspiration too. For my colour scheme, I have taken up the challenge from City Crafter who want a citrus flavour, I don't usually do citrus so it was a great challenge. Make sure you pop on over and check both challenges out and Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there as it's Mothers Day today here in Oz. I'm off to have brekky with my beautiful daughter then tonight we are all going out to dinner together...I'm being spoilt...

I made this card yesterday while my crafting buddies were here but didn't get a chance to post it. There is a really cool challenge over at Annabelle Stamps this month and I love both of  the DT cards. I just love the sophistication of Kylie's card so much so I just had to case it. Floral Happy Birthday

Another card made for a mini stamp camp...this one is the complete opposite to my last card which was CAS. For this card I have used the latest sketch from Cardabilities...as always, another lovely sketch and over at Seize the Birthday they want flowers, love flowers. Then, using the latest colour combo from Colour Q, I wanted to go with DP I don't usually gravitate to and I struggled.....lol....I really like these papers (obviously since I bought them) but I find them hard to work with and I find it hard to combine multiple DP's but in the end, I am really happy with how it turned out. Well I'm off to do some blog surfing and find another challenge. Thanks for popping in...

HAPPY birthday

Hi Crafty Friends...I'm having a great weekend as I have two good friends over for a 'mini' stamp camp. We were planning for a full on stamp camp but then we realized Sunday is Mother's Day so we had cut it short....but that's ok we are just happy to have time together. As usual, my first stop is CAS(E) this Sketch as I just love their challenges. I've gone male orientated for this card...another one for my stash....whoohoo!

Hello Friend...

Hello Stamping Friends....it's been a while since I've been at my desk as I was away all last week with work then all weekend as we traveled away for a wedding. We had a fantastic time at the wedding but it meant I didn't get any stamping time...sob...But lucky me has been able to sneak out to my craft room to make a card this afternoon. I was also very lucky to receive my pack of stamps and dies on Monday that I had ordered from Wplus9 which is what I have used on this card. I was able to use my new 'hello' die and the little 'friend' stamp is out of one of the sets too. I also used my wavy cutter from Creative Memories that I haven't used in ages too so I'm very happy about that. Anyway, for my card I have used the latest sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. I don't know what it is about their sketches but I always wanna play along if I can so they were the first challenge I checked out today.
