Hi Stamping Friends, I have just finished a card that feels like it's taken all day to make....even so I am really happy with the end result. Once again, I have made my background using four of my distress inks. For this background I used Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar & Aged Mahogany. I then stamped a floral stamp randomly with Victorian Velvet then sprayed the card with Perfect Pearls Mist. I love how the mist just changes the whole look of the card. This layout is from Try Stamping On Tuesday and the colour combo is from Designer Seeds and was a challenge from my mate Robyn who sent me two combos that we are both going to use to make a card. I'm also adding my card to the challenges over at Alota Rubber Stamps  where they want 'ribbon/lace and at least one circle' and the challenge from Allsorts is a 'passion for flowers'. Well I'm off to find a layout for my next card...hope you are having a great Friday. Monochromatic Happy Birthday

I'm back with another card for today and for this one I was able to do the latest Dynamic Duo challenge which makes me happy...most of the time I can't get to them before they close because of the time difference. They wanted black & grey - monochromatic - with a Dessert Option: Male or Boy and my design is the latest one from Feeling Sketchy who also has an option of a male or boy card too. Hi All, today is Anzac Day in Australia where we remember our fallen soldiers. Lest we forget....

I have been lucky to score a 4 day weekend as Anzac Day is a public holiday and tomorrow I have taken a days leave to make it a long weekend for me...woohoo...and that means stamp, stamp, stamping and here is my first creation. Today I have made the background by using my 'Dried Marigold' Distress Ink which I then stamped with a background image using the same colour. I have then punched out some leaves, flowers and a butterfly for my image and added pearls. I am actually able to enter this card into 4 challenges (seems to be a theme of 4 today, lol)...I have used the layout from Inkspirational, for colour I have chosen the combo from Just Us Girls, Tuesday Throwdown want you to make your own background and over at Allsorts they have a passion for flowers. Hi Stamping Friends...I started this card on Sunday but have only just now been able to get back to put it all together. This is REALLY different for me but I'm very happy with it. Baby Ethan has arrived!!

Hi Stampers, after a late start today I am posting a card I have made for a friend who has just had her first baby. Baby Ethan arrived on the 8th April and we will be seeing him for the first time tonight!! So this card is for them...I love this stamp. My design is from Feeling Sketchy with the optional extra of using punches/dies. I used a corner punch and have rotated the sketch, hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Nautical Best Wishes

Good morning all, well I have finally been able to post this card. After about 5 attempts yesterday and two just now the picture has finally uploaded...I am having serious issues with my laptop!! Anyway, on to my card....for this design I have chosen the latest sketch from The Friday Mashup and for colour the DT over at Just Add Ink  had this great combo. I was laying in bed enjoying my book and a lazy start to my Sunday just before when my hubby said he was heading out to the hardware store and would stop off at his brother in-laws to wish him a happy birthday for yesterday and did I have a card? So before I even got this card posted it has been claimed and is on its way to a recipient. I might be back a bit later, if not I hope your Sunday goes well and you have a great week. I'm back with my third card for the day...I'm on a roll but it's about to come to a halt as we are off to the footy soon. I seem to be in a 'bird' frame of mind today because it wasn't until I was thinking about what images I was going to use for the card when I realised I was picking a bird again and that was what I had used on the other two cards!! Oh well..for this card I have taken up the challenge from Freshly Made Sketches & The Play Date Cafe. This card is male orientated and that sentiment suits a few of the males in my life...lol. Happy Birthday birdies

Well....I don't know where this card came from...I don't do cute & I don't colour in..but here is a card with both of those things! This is a new stamp set I bought as I don't have many 'kid' orientated stamps but as I now have two little nieces I thought it wouldn't hurt to buy some. I must admit it was hard to actually buy them because they are so cutesy. lol!! Anyway I am posting this card over on Retro Sketches for the design and on Colour Throwdown for the colour combo.
