Well I don't really do 'snow' or 'white Christmas' as I live in tropical northern Australia but when I checked out the latest challenge at Cards in Envy and saw their theme was 'Let it Snow' I thought of a new die I had gotten for Christmas that I could use. So again, I had this background on my desk that I had made a while ago (hence the pink dots in the corner) that I could use to make the sky. I intended to do white dots with my Pentel White Marker for snow but as I was shaking it up, little splatters of white came out on my scratch pad...perfect! So I just shook it a bit more over my card to give my sky some snow flakes. Nice and easy and CAS....I love that for Christmas cards and I'm off and running for my Christmas stash already! I'm also entering my card over at Watercooler Wednesday.
Hi Vikki, you certainly received a beautiful new die for Christmas and it's perfect for the card and challenge. I loved the story of the Pentel pen splattering the white dots randomly for you. How serendipitous! It's a lovely card---clean and simple but elegant. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.
